Born on December 28 1932, Nichols is well known for playing Uhura in the original Star Trek, the animated Star Trek and in the Star Trek movies featuring the original crew.
Looking up on IMDb I found that she was in Surge of Power: Doctor Who Tribute playing Omen and it is a parody that celebrates Doctor Who.
Her other work included Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles, Spider-Man: The Animated Series Futurama, Heroes & Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.
She died on July 30 2022 at the age of 89.
