Louise Fletcher has passed away.
Born on July 22 1934, Fletcher is well known to Star Trek fans for playing the villain Vedek then later Kai Winn in Deep Space Nine.
Outside of Star Trek, she is well known for playing Nurse Ratched in the movie One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest (1975).
Other work includes Exorcist II: The Heretic, The Lady In Red, Strange Behavior, Invaders From Mars, Flowers in the Attic, Two Moon Junction, The Twilight Zone, Return to Two Moon Junction, High School High, Cruel Intentions, Joan of Arcadia, Wonderfalls, Heroes & Private Practice.
She died on September 23 2022 just a little over two months after her 88th birthday.
