The Demon Song is an anthology of The First Doctor Adventures from Big Finish and it starts with well...The Demon Song.
Featuring Dodo.
Written by Bob Ayres, with this his Big Finish debut.
The Demon Song has the TARDIS taking the Doctor and Dodo to the 2020s in the midst of the COVID pandemic with people wearing masks.
The Doctor and Dodo here is played by Stephen Noonan and Lauren Cornelius respectively and makes me wonder how this story would have been liked had it been performed by their late predecessors William Hartnell and Jackie Lane especially their reactions as the atmosphere is nothing like what it was in their day.
Soon people start disappearing and that includes Dodo and it all relates to the said Demon Song.
Overall a very enjoyable Big Finish debut by writer Bob Ayres with the said Demon Song being a fascinating premise for the Doctor to tackle.
Enjoyable interviews I listened to afterwards including addressing the said debut of Ayres and Noonan talking about his performance as the Doctor compares to that of Hartnell's.
