Episode 1 (animated): This is the animated version of The Abominable Snowmen. This is a story with the Second Doctor, Jamie and VIctoria and guest stars Victoria actress Debbie Watling's father Jack Watling as Professor Travers marking his and his character's debut in Doctor Who. Intriguing start with someone, eventually revealed to be Professor Travers' travelling companion, getting killed at a campsite by something unseen by the viewer. We then cut to the TARDIS with the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria as the Doctor expressing delight that they have arrived at the Himalayas. The Doctor then sets off to visit a monastery which he last visited 300 years before and taking him with him there is a ghanta, a holy bell. Along the way he stops by at the said campsite where he finds the dead man and picks up the dead man rucksack. The Doctor eventually arrived at the monastery where also there with the monks was Travers, who seeing the Doctor holding the dead man's rucksack, accuses the Doctor of murdering him. The Doctor protests innocence at this but gets locked up with Travers thinking the Doctor is a newspaper man. Travers is there to look for the Yeti, the said Abominable Snowmen, and think the Doctor as a newspaper man was there to steal the story about the Yeti. Meanwhile the Doctor and Victoria wanders off on their own where they got trapped in the cave when a boulder, placed by a Yeti, blocks out their exit from the cave. Not bad cliffhanger with a Yeti removing the boulder and overcomes Jamie as he tries to fight it off and Victoria screaming at the sight of it.

Episode 2 (animated): Episode 2 is actually the only episode of this story that exists. Animation is done for episode 2 so that it complements the animations of the other episodes which are lost. In the commentary on this producer/director Gary Russell says that the animators had not seen the original episode 2 and they did the animation based on a script by Russell. Given they hadn't seen the original episode 2, the animators did very well in matching with what was shown in the original episode 2. Travers leaves the Doctor with the monks as he thinks that he murdered his friend at the start of the previous episode. However when Travers later met with Jamie and Victoria he is convinced that the Doctor is not the killer at all. Meanwhile at the monastery, a monk Thomni is given instructions by mysterious master Padmasambhava (even the name is mysterious in itself) for the Doctor to be released. The Doctor is released just as he is reunited with Jamie and Victoria as well as Travers. A funny moment came when Jamie tells the Doctor that he (Jamie) has an idea and the Doctor responds to this by taking Victoria and run away! The Doctor expressed his wish to have a Yeti captured so he can examined it. This wish is granted when one gets captured. Intriguing discovery made by the Doctor that the Yeti isn't flesh and blood but it is instead a robot! Pretty eerie cliffhanger with a sphere moving on its own accord and approaching in the direction of the captured Yeti!

Episode 3 (animated): The Doctor now wants to find the missing sphere but Khrisong refuses to let anyone leave the monastery. However Travers has tricked his way out of the monastery to look for the real Yeti. Khrisong, after escaping an attack by two Yetis, later changed his mind and allowed the Doctor and Jamie to venture outside and things are not certainly safe for them to do that. Meanwhile the Yeti that was captured earlier in the monastery suddenly comes to life and gets free of its bond and unfortunately Victoria is nearby as she screams at the sudden life in the Yeti.

Episode 4 (animated): Antepultimate episode of the story. Quite a start to this episode coming from the cliffhanger of the previous episode with everyone battling against the Yeti inside the monastery. This left Thomni but to open the gates and allow the Yeti to leave the monastery. Quite horrifying moment when Jamie having difficulty in stopping sphere in getting in a Yeti as it was doing it all by itself. The cliffhanger to this episode is a pretty creepy one with Victoria meeting Padmasambhava and showing his face that is the face the animators drew here.

Episode 5 (animated): Penultimate episode of the story. The result of Victoria's meeting with Padmasambhava saw her place in a trance by him and put in her a message to the Doctor, one that is triggered by the sound of the Doctor's voice, telling him to take her away from the monastery. Pretty good on how the Doctor resolves this problem with Victoria and funny of Jamie grinning when Victoria was restored to normal. Creepy cliffhanger of the Intelligence oozing out onto the mountain.

Episode 6 (animated): Conclusion to the story. A thrilling climax to the story as it reaches its end. This culminates in a battle against Padmasambhava which is resolved when the pyramid of spheres gets destroyed and leading to Padmasambhava's demise and leaving the Yetis inert. Funny when Travers part ways with the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria when he sees a real (ie non-robot) Yeti. After the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria makes their way to the TARDIS a dead Yeti robot suddenly had a movement on one of its fingers which marks the story's ending.
