Doctor Who and the Iron Legion is the opener of Big Finish's The Comic Strip Adaptations: Volume One from Big Finish.
Adapted by Alan Barnes based on the comic strip story by Pat Mills and John Wagner..
It is a Fourth Doctor story and appropriately Tom Baker plays him in the adaptation.
This is set in 1979 in Rome in an alternative Earth, a Rome that never fell.
I remember the comic strip story to be fun and this adaption is just as fun.
The said Iron Legion is menacing on audio just as it was in the comic strip story.
Amusing that it ends with the Doctor's amusing message to the Time Lords.
