Started the mini-series Litvinenko starring David Tennant as the real-life Alexander Litvinenko.
This series made its debut on December 15 2022, almost two months after Tennant was revealed as the Fourteenth Doctor at the end of The Power of the Doctor on October 23.
Litvinenko also featured Daniel Ryan who had previously worked with Tennant when Tennant was the Tenth Doctor in Midnight in which Ryan played Biff Cane.
Other cast members of Litinenko include Mark Bonnar and Ian Conningham.

Litvinenko Episode 2 marked the one-off or first appearances in the series by Simon Paisley Day, Rad Kaim and Aleksandar Mikic. Given David Tennant played the titular Alexander Litvinenko, Kaim and Mikic had been in Doctor Who episodes with Tennant as the Tenth Doctor as Kaim was in The Sontaran Stratagem playing Worker and Mikic was in The Waters of Mars playing Yuri Kerenski.

My Parents Are Aliens 7.16 is called Fools Of A Feather which is about a pigeon. I tend to think of The Time of the Doctor as being NuWho's own 7.16, although it is not officially the case, and the coincidentally the subject of a pigeon gets brought up. It was brought up by Clara's father Dave who asked his mother, Clara's Gran of how she met his father as it involved a pigeon but he could not get his mother to tell that story.

The penultimate episode of Litvinenko featured Sam Marks and Joanna Kanska. Given that Litvinenko was played by David Tennant, Marks was in the Tennant Tenth Doctor episode The Shakespeare Code playing Wiggins. Kanska was in the Big Finish episode Situation Vacant in which her character Rachel declined the Eighth Doctor's offer to be his companion.

Saw the movie Prêt-à-Porter (1994) and it featured Richard E. Grant. Incidentally I saw this movie not long after I saw another movie featuring Grant that of Hudson Hawk (1991) and that too had another actor who would later be in Prêt-à-Porter that of Danny Aiello.

The Girl Who Waited is NuWho's 6.10 and had my wife Karen playing two Amys and the voice of the Interface was provided by Imelda Staunton. Imelda Staunton later on played Queen Elizabeth II in the fifth and sixth seasons of The Crown including the series finale Sleep, Dearie Sleep which is The Crown's own 6.10. Curiously The Crown 6.10 has Staunton being in a similar situation to my wife Karen in NuWho 6.10. As my wife Karen played two Amys in The Girl Who Waited, Staunton as Queen Elizabeth sees visions of her younger selves but unlike my wife Karen playing the two Amys, the Elizabeths in The Crown finale were played by different actresses in a reflection of her in different ages. The Elizabeths in The Crown finale included Staunton's immediate predecessor Olivia Colman who previously played the Queen in seasons 3 and 4. Colman incidentally had worked with Matt Smith and my wife Karen in The Eleventh Hour and Smith too had been on The Crown playing Prince Philip but did not reunite with Colman as Smith was in the first two seasons.

Saw the TV movie Runaway Christmas Bride (2017) and unavoidably it made me think of the 2006 Doctor Who Christmas Special its almost namesake The Runaway Bride as both are about runaway brides at Christmas with the said TV movie making it plain to see in its title that it takes place at Christmas. Certain differences between two titles include no sci fi elements in the TV movie and the of timing when these brides ran away. In The Runaway Bride, Donna became one just before she got to be married whilst the Runaway Christmas Bride became that just after getting married. Donna mentioned the lack of pockets in her wedding dress and while the word pockets wasn't mentioned in Runaway Christmas Bride that certainly was an issue when she was asked to provide her photo ID as she was in her own wedding dress and no pockets to put her photo ID in! The titular Runaway Christmas Bride was played by Cindy Busby and her previous work included a couple of episodes of the US The Tomorrow People. With Runaway Christmas Bride being similar in premise and name to The Runaway Bride makes me feel this is the closest that Busby has come to being in Doctor Who. Coincidentally Runaway Christmas Bride came on my birthday December 9 2017.
