The Ultimate Adventure was a 1989 stage play written by Terrance Dicks and during its run it had Jon Pertwee reprised his role as the Third Doctor and when Pertwee fell ill his understudy David Banks (previously the Cyber Leader in the TV series) played the Doctor. Pertwee then resumed playing the Doctor before the play was taken over by Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor.
It was Baker’s performance on the stage play that I saw some time ago on Youtube starting here:

Quite a fun spectacular also involving companions not seen in the TV series, Jason Crystal and a small furry creature called Zog with traditional villains in the Daleks and Cybermen plus a Prime Minister that is a veiled depiction of then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
