Saw Michael Gambon in the mini-series Restless.
Along with Gambon, Restless starred Hayley Atwell and Adrian Scarborough.
The one thing that Restless has in common with Gambon’s turn as a companion in Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol is that both featured flashbacks of Gambon’s character with Gambon playing the character in the present day (so to speak).

Warehouse 13 4.16 Runaway featured lava from a volcano assisting a prison break. The volcano in question is one related to Pompeii as the artefact to this is that of a jar from that well known place. It may be a coincidence to the fact that Doctor Who had an episode about the volcano in Pompeii in the 2008 episode The Fires of Pompeii and this episode in turn preceded Planet of the Ood which had a Warehouse 15. Ok it was not exactly a warehouse 13 but it is curious to note that Warehouse 13 did come out a year later.

Saw Derek Jacobi in the movie The Human Factor (1979).
Also in The Human Factor were Keith Marsh, Paul Seed, Adrienne Corri, Clifford Earl and Sylvia Coleridge. The title of The Human Factor feels prophetic to the fact that when Derek Jacobi appeared in Doctor Who in Utopia he overcame his humanity to become The Master.

Death In Paradise 2.4 guest starred Pip Torrens, Bryan Dick and Michael Brandon.
It is the second time within a couple of days that I had seen Torrens after previously seeing him in the 2013 TV movie version of The Lady Vanishes.

Last week saw the 1954 movie The Black Knight featuring Doctors Patrick Troughton and Peter Cushing. I have seen other movies that also featured both Troughton and Cushing but The Black Knight is one that I have noticed unlike the others in which the two had substantial scenes together. This is because in The Black Knight they are co-conspirators attempting to overthrow King Arthur who is a minor character in this film. The co-conspirators attempts to overthrow Arthur are ultimately thwarted by the titular Black Knight (Alan Ladd). In the Black Knight, Troughton plays another king Mark: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_of_Cornwalland Cushing played Sir Palamedes: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palamedes_(Arthurian_legend)As Cushing was a different depiction of the Hartnell Doctor when he played Doctor Who in the 1960s Dalek movies, Palamedes was a Saracen and Saracens had featured in the Hartnell TV story The Crusade. Considering that Cushing would play another version of the Hartnell Doctor, two other actors in The Black Knight would later appear in Harnell Doctor Who stories that of Andre Morell (The Massacre of St Bartholomew’s Eve) and Bill Brandon ( Marco Polo). Therefore Morell and Brandon are among the actors to have appear with both Hartnell and Cushing.
