Sydney Sunday Telegraph’s Nick Dent reviewed Man of Steel giving it three stars and the verdict of “Super style, not much substance”. Dent gave the film barely a passable mark with one reason being the great strength between Superman and adversary General Zod saying that they are both indestructible. “What is the point of throwing all that stuff at each other?” He says that the battles between them gets duller and duller as they get bigger and more destructive.

The second and the last two episodes of the second and final season of Monroe was directed by Brian Kelly and among the regular cast members was Tracy Ann Oberman. Kelly had directed the first two episodes of Torchwood and he kind of narrowly missed directing Tracy Ann Oberman in the Torchwood series. This is because Tracy Ann Oberman had played Yvonne Hartman, the head of the doomed Torchwood One in Doctor Who: Army of Ghosts/Doomsday and did not get to appear in the Torchwood series itself which focuses on the team at Torchwood Three. So Kelly directing Tracy Ann Oberman in Monroe kind of rectifies him not directing her on Torchwood.

It was glance upon back in Warehouse 13 4.11 The Living and The Dead but it been made very elaborate in 4.18 Lost and Found that Sutton (James Marsters who is not in this episode) is an immortal but he is not immune from dying. He does die but he is able to literally come back to life shortly afterwards which is exactly the same thing that Captain Jack can do and Marsters had appeared in Torchwood as Captain John Hart but did not share the same kind of abilities that Jack and Sutton possesses.

The penultimate episode of Warehouse 13 season 4 All The Time In The World reunites two Buffy alums James Marsters and Tony Head. Not only that but they play brothers here as well as the fact that both appeared in the Whoniverse. In Buffy, Head as Giles was a good guy while Marsters as Spike started out as a villain before crossing to the side of good. So in a bit of poetic justice Head and Marsters each switched sides in the good-evil spectrum with Head as the villain Paracelsus and Marsters as the kind of good guy Sutton.

Recently finished seeing the movie Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft featuring Eric Roberts. (The rest of this post is spoilery for this movie.)
This direct to DVD movie is among the non-big screen movies that was made in response to the big screen Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. Among the non-Who cast members was Vanessa Angel. Among her previous roles was in three episodes of Stargate SG-1 playing a good guy (so to speak) Anise/Freya. However for Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft, it was a good guy-villain reversal for Eric Roberts and Vanessa Angel with the former playing a good guy and the latter the villain.
